REASON WHY I DID NOT PURSUE IT

After I graduated from Senior High School, I looked for nearby institutions in our town that offered my ideal course—a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety. The absence of a nearby institution that offered that course was the primary factor in my decision not to pursue it. It is difficult for me to decide against going down that path, but I am aware that everything happens for a reason. I was quite depressed at the time since I didn't know which degree to enroll in; Cavite State University offers a wide variety of options, but I didn't like any of them. The only thing that I did that time was to enroll in any course, then planned to finish it and after that if the opportunity arose, I would pursue my ideal course. Because I really believe that if I desired it enough, I would be able to do it. Second reason why I did not pursue it was because I could not afford the tuition fee or expenses; attending school nowadays whether it be at public or private institution is difficult. Students sacrifice their education and health to work and save money for their future. I am aware that a lot of young people quit going to school because of money, yet some are fortunate to have a financially secure family. Money is one of the reasons I didn’t pursue my ideal course, but I’m blessed and thankful to have a family that supported me throughout my journey in my present course. As a fourth-year college student taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics. I am encouraging everyone especially those students who stopped from attending school to keep dreaming because everything comes to you at the right time.
