REASON WHY I DID NOT PURSUE IT

After I graduated from Senior High School, I looked for nearby institutions in our town that offered my ideal course—a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety. The absence of a nearby institution that offered that course was the primary factor in my decision not to pursue it. It is difficult for me to decide against going down that path, but I am aware that everything happens for a reason. I was quite depressed at the time since I didn't know which degree to enroll in; Cavite State University offers a wide variety of options, but I didn't like any of them. The only thing that I did that time was to enroll in any course, then planned to finish it and after that if the opportunity arose, I would pursue my ideal course. Because I really believe that if I desired it enough, I would be able to do it. Second reason why I did not pursue it was because I could not afford the tuition fee or expenses; attending school nowadays whether it be at public or private institution is difficult. S...

CHALLENGES THAT I MAY ENCOUNTER WHEN I PURSUE IT

We are all aware of the significant hazards that firefighters encounter while working, including burns and physical and emotional stress. Also, I may encounter trauma, unstable work-life balance, and post-traumatic stress ...

WHO AND WHAT INSPIRE ME

I had a lot of desired courses when I was in Senior High School that I wanted to take in college. My ideal course would be a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety since I wanted to be part of Bureau of Fire Protection. This program gives students the option of a public safety management major or one of the three specializations in fire service, emergency medical service, or medical management administration. This course is designed for individuals looking to advance their careers and gain understanding of leadership roles in public safety profession. I am motivated by this course because of the tragedy that we experienced when I was on senior high school. During that time our home almost burned down and because of that experienced I wanted to become a fire fighter.       I looked up to all firefighters because they risk their lives to put out fires, save people, and take care of the ill and injured individuals. I was interested in this course because I am aware that b...
